Most common follow-up question after we pulled every kratom extract from our online store: isn't Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate just an extract with a friendlier name? No. And the distinction matters.
An extract pulls alkaloids out of the leaf and delivers them in concentrated form. Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate is real brewed tea — same tea, just reduced and dried.
The core difference in one paragraph
A kratom extract pulls specific alkaloids out of the leaf using solvent, heat, or chemistry, and delivers those alkaloids concentrated. Compositionally, an extract is different from the leaf it started with — usually enriched in mitragynine or 7-hydroxymitragynine.
Our Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate is real kratom tea, brewed from natural crushed leaf the way we do at the bar, then reduced down and dried into a portable powder. Full spectrum, no isolation of specific alkaloids. Compositionally, it's the same tea you would brew at home from crushed leaf.
How it's actually made
- Brew. Natural crushed leaf goes into a large-batch brewer at our facility. Simmered (not boiled) at the same ratios we use for gallon batches behind the bar.
- Strain. The finished tea is strained through muslin. Wet leaf is pressed to squeeze out the last of the tea. Leaf to compost. Tea we keep.
- Reduce. The strained tea is gently reduced (heat + evaporation) to concentrate the liquid. Nothing added — water leaves, alkaloids stay in proportion.
- Dry. The concentrated tea is dried to a shelf-stable powder that redissolves in water.
Nowhere in this process do we isolate a specific alkaloid, add anything to boost mitragynine or 7-hydroxymitragynine, or use a solvent to pull alkaloids out at higher concentration than the leaf naturally produces.
The regulatory reason this distinction matters
Almost every kratom regulation being written today targets one of three things: concentrated extracts above a potency threshold, 7-hydroxymitragynine above a dry-weight ppm cap, or synthetic/semi-synthetic alkaloid isolates. - Weekday mornings. You didn't batch-brew Sunday and there's no time to simmer 25 minutes.

How do I use it?
Stir a serving into 6–8oz of water until it dissolves. Warm or cold water both work.
Is it stronger than brewing crushed leaf?
Comparable at recommended serving. Each Instant serving is calibrated to a standard bar-strength pour.
Does it contain any additives?
No. Only ingredient is reduced brewed tea from natural kratom leaf.
Can I add it to another drink?
Yes. Smoothie, chilled tea, mocktail. As long as the liquid isn't boiling, the concentrate holds up.
