Franchise Opportunity — Own a Noble Tea Kava Bar
Bring a Welcoming Third Place to Your City.
America is drinking less every year — and a whole generation is looking for somewhere to hang out that isn't a bar, a coffee shop that closes at 6, or their own couch. We built the answer to that in Melbourne, Florida: a welcoming third place, open until 3 a.m., paired with real hospitality instead of alcohol. Now we're inviting a small group of operators to open one in their own community, backed by our systems, our SOPs, our certifications, and our recipes.
Request the Franchise Kit Read Kyle's StoryA Generation Wants to Hang Out. Fewer of Them Want to Drink.
The math isn't complicated. Alcohol sales keep sliding. Loneliness keeps climbing. Third places — the ones Ray Oldenburg wrote about, the ones your grandparents lived at — keep shutting down. Nobody is building the replacement at scale. We are.
People aren't drinking less because they suddenly like their kitchens. They're drinking less because they're looking for somewhere different to go. That somewhere is what you'd be opening.
The Bar That Saved My Life. Now Your City's.
Noble Tea Kava Bar was built by someone who needed it to exist. Kyle Peters spent seven years behind the bar at someone else's kava shop — running shifts, learning the trade, watching his own life slip away as a functional alcoholic in plain sight. Kava was the off-ramp. Then it became the obsession.
He spent 2023 and 2024 building the brand, dialing in the kratom tea recipes, launching the Ah’Koola™ product line, and opening the online store at nobleteakava.com. In 2025, Noble Tea Kava Bar opened its doors in Melbourne, Florida — a real bar, real regulars, real community, no alcohol.
This isn't a wellness fad. It's a bar. It's open until 3 a.m. It has a community of regulars who shape their week around it. And it doesn't sell alcohol, because alcohol is exactly what most of our people are running from.
— Kyle Peters, Founder
Before We Built This
A Third Place, Not a Wellness Trend.
Most "wellness" concepts are juice bars with extra steps. We built something older and more human than that — a third place. Somewhere between home and work where people come for the people, the ritual, and a buzz that doesn't ruin tomorrow. It works because we've spent years turning every part of running it into a system anyone can execute.
The Ah’Koola™ Product Line
Our proprietary Ah’Koola™ lineup — natural kratom leaf, Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate, Instant Kava, kava brew kits, botanical drafts — is locked behind our supply chain. Competitors can't buy what you'll be pouring.
Systems, SOPs & Checklists
Every recipe, every shift, every open and close, every training milestone — documented as a checklist. Your team doesn't guess. They follow the same steps we run in Melbourne. Copy and paste, then improve locally.
Certifications & Compliance Kit
FDACS food establishment framework. ISO-accredited third-party lab testing on every batch. State-by-state kratom compliance flags. You inherit the compliance stack we've already built — you don't have to figure it out.
Day + Night Community
10 a.m. to 3 a.m. Coffee crowd, lunch crowd, post-work crowd, nightlife crowd. Coffee shops close at 6. Bars open at 5. Your bar is the third place that catches every hour someone is looking for people, not just a drink.
Five Ways Your Community Shows Up.
One location, one staff, one buildout — five different ways the community organizes itself around your bar. The register rings all five. That's the byproduct of building a real third place, not the point of it.
Kava, Kratom Tea & Botanicals on Tap
Up to 13 taps. Traditional kava from Vanuatu and Fiji, kratom nitro tea, Instant Kratom Tea, botanical sodas, and house-made ice cream. Real hospitality, real regulars, real community — the core of every third place.
Jugs, Gallons & Kratom Brew Kits
Customers walk out with 64oz kratom tea fills, gallons, and brew kits that let them replicate the bar at home. The ritual keeps going after they leave your door.
Natural Leaf, Kava Root, Instant Products
Stock the wall with Ah’Koola™: crushed natural kratom leaf (Green, Red, White), Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate, Instant Kava, kava root, brew kits — the same SKUs driving our online store, now in your community's hands.
Sell Into Other Bars & Retail
Drop Ah’Koola™ product into kombucha bars, gyms, juice bars, and health-focused restaurants in your territory. Brand presence and community outside your four walls.
Private Bookings & Sober Events
Sober book clubs, recovery meetings, board game nights, live music, comedy. People are looking for spaces that don't serve alcohol — there aren't many. Yours becomes the one.
Ice Cream, Coffee, Food
Our flagship runs a coffee partnership, botanical ice cream, and a small food menu. More reasons for the community to spend the day here.
Copy & Paste Our Bar to Anywhere in the World.
We don't sell you a logo and a hope. We sell you the operating system — written, tested, and proven — that turns "a nice idea for a third place" into a working business your community loves.
- Recipe Book — Every Drink Documented — Every kava pour, every kratom tea brew, every botanical soda. Weights, times, temperatures, glassware. Not "about a scoop." Exact.
- SOPs for Every Shift — Open, mid-day, close, deep clean, inventory. Step-by-step. A new hire can run a shift from the checklist.
- Certification Program — Barista-style certification for kava and kratom tea service. Your team gets certified before they pour. Consistency locked in.
- Compliance Stack — Active FDACS Food Establishment framework. ISO-accredited third-party lab testing built into supply. State-by-state kratom compliance flags. We keep it current; you follow the checklist.
- The Ah’Koola™ Supply Chain — Direct relationships with growers in Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, and Solomon Islands. Cultivar-sourced kava root. Wholesale pricing locked. Order through us, no middlemen.
- The Community Playbook — How we built our regulars. How to run a sober event calendar. How to launch a book club, a recovery night, a game night. How to make strangers into regulars by their third visit.
You Don't Have to Invent Anything.
Most bar concepts die because the owner has to be the chemist, the buyer, the marketer, the manager, and the bouncer at the same time. We've already done the chemistry — and we wrote it all down.
The recipes are locked. The supply chain runs. The SOPs are printed and laminated. The kratom tea brew methods are dialed in on a checklist. The onboarding for a new bartender fits on one page. You bring the hospitality, the hustle, and the community — we hand you the rest already built.
Translation: you can open a third place in your city without spending two years figuring out what kava is, how kratom tea should taste, or which cultivars are worth buying. You spend those two years knowing your regulars by name instead.
We're Not Selling Franchises. We're Picking Community Builders.
Noble Tea Kava Bar is a hospitality business with a sobriety mission underneath it. We're not the right fit for everyone, and we're not trying to be. Here's who we're looking for:
You Love People More Than Margin
This is a community-first format. If you can't make a regular feel seen, the math doesn't work. The bar runs on relationships.
You Get the Sober-Curious Wave
You don't have to be in recovery. But you have to understand why someone would choose to spend a Saturday night somewhere alcohol-free — and not think it's weird.
You'll Be on the Floor
Absentee ownership doesn't work for a bar with a culture. You don't have to pour every drink, but you need to be visible, present, and known by your regulars.
You'll Actually Run the Playbook
We've made every mistake. We'll save you from most of them — but only if you follow the SOPs. Independent operators with "their own ideas" out of the gate are not who we're looking for. Improve locally after year one.
You Have the Capital
This is a real buildout — bar equipment, taps, walk-in, real estate. We're up front about the number. If the math doesn't work for you, we'll say so.
You're Building Something Real
Not flipping concepts. Not chasing a trend. Building a place your neighborhood will still gather at ten years from now.
You're Not Alone in This.
From the day you sign through every shift after, our team is in your corner. Here's how that actually shows up:
Site, Buildout & Equipment
Real estate criteria, lease review, floor plan templates, equipment specs, vendor lists. We tell you what to buy and what to skip. No guessing.
HQ Bootcamp + In-Store
Two-week certification at our flagship in Melbourne, FL. Then we send our team to your location for opening week. You and your manager learn kava, kratom tea brewing, and hospitality from the SOPs.
The Ah’Koola™ Supply Chain
Direct sourcing on cultivar kava root, crushed natural kratom leaf, Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate, Instant Kava, brew kits. Wholesale pricing locked. Order through us, no middlemen.
Opening Week Community Launch
Pre-launch local PR, influencer seeding, soft-open program, grand opening. We've opened this format before. We know what fills a third place on week one.
Field Coaching & QBRs
Quarterly business reviews, monthly operator calls, in-person visits, P&L benchmarking against the network. You see what's working at other units and get it copied to yours.
The Kratom-Safe Playbook
Kratom can't be advertised on most platforms — and paid ads get shadowbanned. We've spent years building organic, SEO, email, and community channels that actually convert. You inherit the system.

Real Talk.
The questions every smart prospective operator asks. Straight answers.
Do I need bar or hospitality experience?
It helps, but no. We've trained people from completely outside hospitality. What matters more is whether you can run a team, count money, and make a stranger feel like a regular by their third visit. We teach the rest — our SOPs assume you're starting from zero.
Do I need to know anything about kava or kratom tea?
No. Two weeks of certification at our flagship and you'll know more than most people in the industry. We teach the plants, the brews, the pours, the science, the legality, and the customer conversations. Every drink runs off a printed recipe card — no guessing.
Is kratom legal in my state?
Depends. Kratom is legal federally and in most states. A handful have banned it; others have age restrictions or Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA) requirements. Before we approve your territory, we run the regulatory check with you. If kratom is restricted in your market, we'll show you what the kava-forward version of the bar looks like without it.
Why did you drop kratom extracts?
Regulatory tailwind is moving hard against concentrated extracts. We pulled every extract SKU across our online store proactively so our brand and our licensees aren't holding restricted inventory when the next state moves. What we sell instead — natural leaf, Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate, kava — is where the compliant future of the category is heading.
What about alcohol? Can I add a beer and wine license?
No. This is a sober-friendly format. The day you serve alcohol is the day half your regulars stop showing up. Our community is who they are because of what we don't sell.
How do you compete in markets with existing kava bars?
The Ah’Koola™ product line. The systems. The recipes. The certifications. Our flagship is in Brevard County, Florida — densely populated with kava-adjacent competition. We're still growing because most kava bars are under-built and under-branded. The playbook wins in a crowded room.
Can I own more than one location?
Yes. We prefer multi-unit operators for territory development. After you've stabilized your first unit (usually 12–18 months), we'll open the conversation on additional locations or area development agreements.
How do you handle marketing when kratom can't be advertised?
Social platforms shadowban kratom content. Paid ads aren't an option. We've built an organic, SEO, email, and community-driven playbook that works — and you inherit all of it. Plus we've launched a parallel product-brand presence (Ah’Koola™) that operates on cleaner platforms.
What does a typical week look like for the owner?
First six months: you're on the floor a lot. You're learning your community, building shift culture, and showing up for opens and closes. After that, it depends on how strong your manager is. Some of our model operators end up in 25–30 hours/week of presence after the first year. The format rewards being known by your regulars, not being absent.
