Why we test everything we sell
Kyle spent seven years working behind kava bars before opening Noble Tea Kava Bar in Melbourne, FL. In that time he saw what untested product does to people — weak batches, hot batches, mystery sourcing, customers wondering why “the same product” feels totally different week to week. We built Ah'Koola around a different standard.
Every kratom product we sell — natural leaf, brew kits, Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate, and our new Florida-compliant AK-242 liquid kratom extract — is sent out to an ISO-accredited third-party analytical lab for a full compliance panel before anything gets pouched, bottled, or shipped. That panel covers parent 7-hydroxymitragynine concentration, mitragynine-to-7-OH ratio, separately scheduled derivatives (7-acetoxymitragynine, MGM-15, MGM-16, mitragynine pseudoindoxyl), residual solvents, heavy metals, and microbial contamination — the exact framework Florida uses under Emergency Rule 2ER26-2 and the FDACS labeling rule 5KER26-11.
For products we manufacture in-house, like our Instant Kava, we run our own batch testing under our FDACS-licensed operation.

How Florida evaluates kratom products — the three checks
Florida's Emergency Rule 2ER26-2 (effective 18 Aug 2026, scheduled to expire 30 Jun 2027 unless replaced or extended) uses three separate composition checks. A product must clear all three. One passing result does not cancel a failing result. Every batch we ship is tested to this framework using Cora Science's Test Code 814 reporting workflow.
Labeling rule 5KER26-11 (effective 24 Aug 2026, expires 22 Nov 2026 unless replaced or extended) requires the whole-package Alkaloid Ratio to appear in the format [mg mitragynine]:[mg 7-OH]. Our AK-242 declares 182:0. If you need lot-specific numbers for your own compliance file, email us and we'll send the current COA same-day.

What is AK-242 and how is it different from AK-280?
AK-280 was our previous liquid kratom extract — retired in 2026 as regulatory pressure on high-potency extracts intensified. AK-242 is the reformulated Florida-compliant successor: same liquid format, dialed in specifically to clear Florida's three composition checks under Emergency Rule 2ER26-2. Parent 7-OH under 1.00 mg/mL. Mitragynine-to-7-OH ratio ~4843:1 (48× over the 100:1 minimum). All scheduled derivatives (7-acetoxymitragynine, MGM-15, MGM-16, mitragynine pseudoindoxyl) Not Detected. Real liquid kratom you can legally sell in Florida — with the Cora Science Test Code 814 COA to prove it.
Why did you retire AK-280?
We pulled our high-potency AK-280 line as Florida and other states tightened rules on concentrated 7-OH kratom products. Rather than fight the tide, we reformulated. AK-242 is what came out of that process — real liquid kratom, dialed in for compliance, tested to the same standards Florida regulators use. Alongside AK-242 we continue to sell natural full-spectrum kratom leaf (crushed leaf + AM30) and our Instant Kratom Tea Concentrate.
What is Test Code 814 and why does it matter?
Florida's kratom rules require a specific analytical workflow that checks parent 7-OH concentration, the mitragynine-to-7-OH ratio, and separately scheduled derivatives — each as its own pass/fail. Cora Science's Test Code 814 is the lab reporting format built for this framework. Every AK-242 batch we ship is tested under Test Code 814 so it stays compliant with Florida's KCPA, Emergency Rule 2ER26-2 composition checks, and FDACS 5KER26-11 labeling requirements.
What does “Alkaloid Ratio 182:0” on the AK-242 COA mean?
Florida's labeling rule 5KER26-11 requires the whole-package alkaloid content to appear as [mg mitragynine]:[mg 7-OH]. Our AK-242 30 mL bottle contains 182 mg of mitragynine and (rounded) 0 mg of parent 7-OH — hence “182:0.” The unrounded 7-OH result is far below the 1.00 mg/mL limit; the display just rounds to whole milligrams. Larger sizes scale proportionally.
What does ISO-accredited mean for the lab?
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the international standard for analytical testing labs. An accredited lab has been independently audited to confirm their equipment, methods, recordkeeping, and analyst training meet documented standards. Cora Science is accredited by PJLA (#116374).
Are the PDFs above current?
The PDFs are from real, recent production lots. We rotate them as new batches are tested. Florida's emergency rules also have expiration dates — 2ER26-2 is scheduled to expire 30 Jun 2027 and 5KER26-11 on 22 Nov 2026 unless replaced or extended. We revisit our compliance framing whenever the underlying rules move.
