Ah'Koola™ 30 American Mesh Kratom
Ah'Koola™ 30 American Mesh Kratom
The kratom leaf that’s actually still shipping out of Indonesia. Real tea, honest labeling, better price.
Since Indonesia changed its export regulations, American Mesh 30 has effectively become the only natural-leaf format still moving in fresh, ongoing supply. Most online retailers already sell it — they just call it “crushed leaf” and hope you don’t notice the difference. We’re labeling it honestly: this is AM30, it brews the same kratom tea as our true crushed leaf, it’s cheaper, and it’s where the whole category is heading.
What is American Mesh 30?
“Mesh 30” refers to the sieve grind size. It’s coarser than kratom powder (which passes through much finer mesh), but finer than the true whole-leaf format we used to get from Indonesia before the export rules changed. AM30 has effectively become the new default grade for natural kratom leaf — what almost every online retailer is now shipping when they say “crushed leaf” or “leaf kratom.” We’re just being straightforward about what it actually is.
Why we started retailing AM30
The honest reason: Indonesia’s regulatory changes mean AM30 is the format still being produced and exported at scale. Our true crushed-leaf inventory is legacy stock — older shipments that we’ll eventually run out of, with no direct replacement in the same coarse-cut grade. If you want natural leaf kratom on any reliable, ongoing basis going forward, AM30 is it. Rather than watch our customers migrate to competitors that mislabel AM30 as “crushed leaf,” we’re selling it ourselves with the same ISO-accredited lab testing, honest labeling, and the same family-owned Melbourne kava bar behind every bag.
AM30 vs. our legacy Crushed Leaf — the honest comparison
How to brew AM30 tea at home
Same bar-tested method as our crushed leaf, with two adjustments: use a finer strainer (a proper muslin brew bag with tight weave, not a wide mesh) and press the leaf firmly at the end. The finer grind means more of it wants to slip through, so straining matters.
- Weigh: 8–12 grams per 16oz cup.
- Simmer, don’t boil: covered, low heat, 20–30 minutes.
- Strain twice if needed: pour through a fine muslin bag, then a fine mesh strainer if you want an extra-clean pour.
- Serve hot, chilled, or over ice. Add lemon or honey to smooth it out.
Grab our Kratom Brew Kit if you want the exact strainer we use behind the bar.
Lab testing & compliance
Every AM30 lot is tested by an ISO-accredited third-party analytical lab before it ships. Panel covers potency, 7-hydroxymitragynine dry weight in parts per million, residual solvents, heavy metals, and microbial contamination. Same testing panel we run on our crushed leaf. View Lab Reports.
Sizes & per-cup cost
- 100g — $15 · about 8 sixteen-ounce teas · ~$1.88 per cup
- 500g — $60 · about 40 sixteen-ounce teas · ~$1.50 per cup
- 1kg — $80 · about 80 sixteen-ounce teas · ~$1.00 per cup (best value)
Vein colors
Green — balanced, all-purpose. Our default pick for new AM30 buyers. Red — slower, evening-oriented, more grounding. White — brighter, morning-oriented, more forward. Same directional profiles as our crushed leaf; the format doesn’t change vein behavior.
