The Headhunter Kava cultivar has been known to boost mood, deep muscle relaxation, pain management, and mind improvement, and can even act as a natural appetite inhibitor. This is due to the higher amounts of Kavain and Dihydrokavain, which, when consumed in high doses, can help lead to overall physical relaxation. With the help of all these combined physical relaxation effects, it’s easy for the kavalactones to also act as a natural sleep aid.

Additionally, this specific batch of Headhunter Kava having a higher concentration of Yangonin and Desmethoxyangonin than Methysticin and Dihydromethysticin can make it particularly good for daytime use, especially in lower doses. As the effects can often be described as stimulating and focusing in smaller doses while still minimizing the perception of pain. With larger doses, this kava leans towards sedation and relaxation like most. It is also one of the strongest kavas we have had yet to date!
