The Damu Damu cultivar is a Fijian Kava that lives up to the hype of Fijian Kava and goes back to the roots of why Fijian Kava was so highly coveted and special. It has a high Methysticin presence compared to most kavas. It is the second most common kavalactone found in Damu Damu, not Kavain or Dihydrokavain, which are the 1st and 3rd in this chemotype. This is an abnormality for noble kava cultivars only found in Fiji. Usually, resulting in potent and long- lasting effects.
This abnormality and kavalactone ratio tends to have very unique effects. With euphoria and minimal sedation at first. This kava at higher doses leans into a very special, heavy, physical kava feeling with no lingering effects the next day. It is a very fun and unique cultivar, with fun and unique effects, that we are very happy and grateful to have found and be able to share with you.
